David Garza, Rector and Executive President of the Tec, took part in the 14th “Reinventing Higher Education” forum organized by IE University and the University of Miami, at which presidents, rectors, vice-chancellors, and experts from 40 universities analyzed the challenges of higher education.

Faculty of Excellence is a Tec de Monterrey initiative to attract 100 of the world’s top thought leaders and researchers to join its national schools as professors of excellence.

According to the education experts who gathered at Tec de Monterrey, shaping the education of the future implies reassessing educational programs and how they are taught, placing emphasis not only on civic education but also on elements that will allow students to tackle the challenges of a changing world.

The 9th International Conference on Educational Innovation, organized by the Institute for the Future of Education at Tec de Monterrey, aims to inspire projects and partnerships to continue constructing the future of education.

The goal of the project is to encourage achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, prevent ocean pollution, and apply the principles of the circular economy.
